AML Training: Quicktolearnmore.com launches unique package
When Click To Learn More Limited, one of World Money Laundering Report's sister companies wanted to purchase an e-learning platform, the cost was prohibitive. So it built its own. Quicktolearnmore.com is launched this week.
Click To Learn More Limited, the UK's leading provider of content for e-learning systems has launched its own e-learning platform.
The Platform has been developed by AML Net Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. Content will be provided by Clicktolearnmore.com with support from other companies within The Anti Money Laundering Network.
The platform has been designed especially for use in environments where technology drain would affect the performance of the financial service's business own network, where internet delivery is slow or where local machines have, say, 15 inch monitors, low RAM and older processors.
Launching the system, Nigel Morris-Cotterill, chairman of The Anti Money Laundering Network said "we have kept everything extremely simple: from the presentation to the delivery technology, even to the language used. The aim is that banks with representative offices should be able to train their people across the world effectively and cheaply and always to the same standard without having to shop around for local content."
This means, for example, that people can be trained before transfer to a new branch or business area, so maximising their effectiveness from day one. "It's tough enough for people to have to change jobs. If they are already familiar with some of the rules they have to comply with, it gives them a head start," said Morris-Cotterill.
