Important service information regarding disruption.
Service disruption caused by a broken cable under the South China Sea means that this website and mail to World Money Laundering Report is unreliable at present. The problem arose on 3 March and the network provider is working to resolve it. This results in our being unable to reliably communicate with our servers in the UK. As a result, the daily news service is suspended until 10 March.
Independently of this, and regrettably coincidentally with it, we are undertaking a planned move to another server provider in the UK. As a result, access to the site and to mail will be unreliable from 3 to 10 March. This would not, of itself, usually mean a break in service but combined with the network problems, we have decided that suspension of daily news until that date is sensible.
The purpose of the change is to facilitate the installation of World Money Laundering Report: Online's new content management system. World Money Laundering Report: Online will be hosted at www.wmlro.com starting from the middle of March.
www.vortexcentrum.com (the site where WMLR:O was temporarily hosted whilst its new home was developed) will revert to being the service relating to World Money Laundering Report.
Any mail sent to users at vortexcentrum.com should be delivered or stored but we have had reports that some mail is bouncing. This is usual where domain hosting is being moved. If you write to us and your mail bounces, then please wait a few days and resend.
Signups for World Money Laundering Report: Digest are not affected. However, signups for samples of World Money Laundering Report may not be received and, because of the way the system is set up by our relay service, failed signups will not be returned to you. If you do not receive your sample, please revisit the site and make a new request after 10 March 2003.
