AML / CFT : new smuggling tactic
The graphic shows how thousands of cigarettes were hidden inside a concrete block, broken open by UK Border Agency (customs) staff with sledgehammers.
The cigarettes are said to have been produced in China. Tests have yet to be concluded but previously discovered batches have been found to have exceptionally high levels of various toxins (in addition to the usual horrible cocktail of poisons found in cigarettes).
The lorry carrying the concrete block has been seized and may be confiscated.
