Wealth management:Hershey Trust in sweet deal with Bryn Mawr
Hershey Trust Company ("HTC") has entered into a definitive agreement with Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation ("Bryn Mawr Trust") under which Bryn Mawr Trust will acquire the entire HTC Private Wealth Management Group (the "PWMG Business").
Completion, subject to regulatory approval, is expected within three months. Hershey Trust Company is a Pennsylvania-chartered trust company founded by Milton S. Hershey in 1905 which serves as trustee for Milton Hershey School Trust. The Private Wealth Management Group, located in Derry Township, Pennsylvania, provides customized financial advice, investment management, estate planning, trust administration and tax services to individuals and institutions.
The company will continue to operate from its current location in the town of Hershey - where it's offices are at West Chocolate Avenue.
