There are various definitions of "spam" or "unsolicited commercial e-mail" some enshrined in law which allow promoters of UCE to claim that their junk mail is not "spam." As a principle, UCE is wrong. It drains the victim's bandwidth and storage and leads to a direct cost. It also leads to an indirect cost for the victim as he struggles to contain the tide of UCE / spam. So, in the real world, there is only one definition that matters: did I give this individual organisation authority to send me advertisements. If not, then it's spam. If they want to attract the attention of random potential customers, that is what advertising is for. NOTE: not all spams are scams.
A Labuan registered company is promoting its services within mainland Malaysia by unsolicited commercial e-mail using an e-mailing service.
The subject line of this message relates to "storage and packing requirements" and part of the message does relate to that. But mostly, it's really selling pre-paid payment cards (so-called "gift cards" and other financial services.
It is uncertain whether this is a spam or a scam. The "sent address" appears to be faked.
The following spam has been received promoting credit card services from UK financial services provider Halifax.

More financial spam sent to individuals but at corporate addresses to try to bypass the UK's anti-spam laws. Again, it's "The Clever Zone" and this time it's advertising low rate mortgages.
