Enforcement: SEC sanctions Texas broker-dealer
38 year old Tony E Morrison of Mansfield, Texas, the president of Texas Securities Partners LLC, a Delaware registered company, has entered into a consent order with the SEC.
The SEC alleged that Morrison directed the company, TSP, and its registered representatives to misrepresent the true nature of offerings in oil and gas securities, including material misrepresentations and omitting material facts regarding past performance, expected returns and risk.
The SEC also alleged that, as a result of Morrison's actions, TSP raised USD12.7 million by selling fractional interests in four oil and gas offerings to more than 500 investors across the USA.
The consent order bars Morrison from association with any broker or dealer.
Morrison neither admitted nor denied the allegations.
