Enforcement: UK's FSA executes search warrants in UK and Germany
The long arm of the UK's Financial Services Authority today reached beyond the UK and to Hessen in Germany.
Search warrants were executed on 2nd November in coordinated raids in London (with the assistance of the City of London Police) and in Hessen (with the assistance of the police and prosecutors there).
One man, a city professional aged 37, and a woman, aged 28, were also arrested in London on suspicion of insider dealing.
The identities of those arrested and the addresses of the premises searched have not been disclosed.
Investigations are continuing but the FSA says that this investigation is not connected to any other investigation.
